Do I Need Root Canal Treatment?

This is a question that is often asked by patients who have experienced either tooth related trauma, injury or chronic pain. While there are many different types of dental conditions that would require root canal, one of the most common is when the pulp of the tooth has become infected for some reason. If this infection does not respond to medication and is recurring in nature than root canal may indeed be the best option for the patient.
